Call to Worship:
Leader:  We gather round the Christ who walks beside us.
People:  Christ is closer to us than the very thoughts our hearts distill.
Leader:  We have walked with Christ through the journey of our days,
People:  and we have told him about the hardness of life which can sweep away our hopes.
Leader:  Christ listened, and brought us comfort, energy and love.
People:  So Risen Christ, stay with us, hold fast in friendship with each new evening, and in the dawning of each new day.
